My Father In Law just picked up a 2014 Crewmax. He is a LARGE man, 6'7" and around 450 pounds. He is having difficulty getting in the truck. He is looking for a running board or step to help out but he is worried about it supporting his weight. Any suggestions for something stout enough to help out?

Look into getting a slider! Will be very heavy and stout, usually meant to protect the truck frame from buckling when out wheeling but in this situation would be more than enough to support your FIL.

Good companies are Victory 4x4, @demello , White Knuckle Offroad. I personally have Demello and if you went with them, the Rock Crusher, you couldn’t go wrong!
