Occasionally the zone door doesn't switch from defrost to any other position. With engine running, if I switch from defrost I can hear sounds in the ventilation system as if it is trying to move the door, but the airflow continues to come from defrost only at a reduce rate. If I turn the truck off, rotate to floor, or dash, or a blend and start back up then most of the time (9 out of 10 maybe) it switches over to the desired zone. Has anyone experienced this?

I haven't on my 07. You issue does seem a bit odd. Maybe someone has had the same issue and will chime in.
