My heads up display has acted wonky since I bought this thing. My first year free "media" services expired and its changed again. I use Android Auto for media. When I first got it, It would just display speed and speed limits. After removing and adding the tundra to the Toyota app a few times whith a phone connection reset, it started also displaying the current audio track via Spotify / Android Auto. I then had to re-add the truck to the Toyota app (reset phone) and the media info disappeared. Now after the expiration, the Tundra system did an update and I only get speed, even the speed limit info is rare to see (only after I pass a speed sign). What’s up with this system, I have never found any way to change what it actually displays and it seems to have a mind of its own.

It just reminds me how Toyota has been "behind" other brands like Honda when it comes to technology in cars, always slow and late to the game.

there is a dedicated HUD menu in the dash settings, has nothing to due with your phone. you can change all sorts of things in there including the position and what it displays.

did you look this up in the manual? go in there and tweak the settings to what you want.

mines works fine, shows whatever I want, usually have speed limit, current speed, eco gauge, turn by turn , etc all at once.

it also has the radar cruise info and settings and if a car is within the radar distance when you are using that.

Don't wear polarized sun glasses either or the majority of the displays sort of disappear.
