Headlight type confirmation needed

Apologies for the complete newbie post - but I really am a complete newbie when it comes to headlights. Can you guys confirm whether or not the headlights pictured below are LED or Halogen? This is on a 2021 SR5 that I purchased used. The "build sheet" from my VIN states it has Halogen headlights with LED DRL's - but comparing these to other pictures of LEDs - these look like LED's to me? Any help would be appreciated!

 

Those are the LED with the white DRL running around them.

 

Thanks for the confirmation! After reading about those that upgraded from the Halogen to the LED's, and assuming I had Halogens... I was thinking wow - if there is an upgrade from what I have, its gotta blind everyone coming down the road haha.

Second question: did some 2021 SR5's come with LED head lights (was there a package to add them)? Or is it more likely the previous owner add these after the fact?

 

I want to say yes, but I'm not 100% sure if there was a package. I think if you have the adjuster dial on your dash, then it probably come with the LED's from the factory. But that is just an assumption.

 

for 18-21, if the SR5 has a TRD OR or TRD Sport package it upgraded to LED headlights.

 

The standard SR5 is halogen. The Limited and above were leds.

 

The previous owner upgraded yours.

 

My 2021 TRD Sport came stock with LED front and fog lights. I believe it is the SR5 Preferred Package, have to look at my sticker.

 

My truck does have the adjuster dial on the dash and it does have the "TRD Off Road" package. The previous owner was an older gentleman in his 70's - I wouldn't have thought he'd be one to purchase and install these - but I reckon anything's possible.

 

I doubt it. Probably has one of the TRD packages. Those look exactly like the TRD Off Road ones from my SR5. Black trim and all.

 

Just checked window sticker, LED headlights/fogs comes standard with TRD OR or Sport packages.

if you see a couple extra clips, aka a longer headlight wire, it is upgraded. If it looks direct with no slack, stock.

Yeah yeah lol. Too many trim levels. My SR5 had the upgrade pkg with Sport grille but no leds lol. I have those expensive XB's.

AHHH.. I had to go offline for a few days for a family emergency, so I am still getting caught up.

 

It's All good. At least my SR5 has rear AC and power center sliding window.

 

Right! until you go try and build a custom Ford, the AMOUNT of customization is ridiculous.

 

You could get the power slider without the Limited pckg? I don't think I've ever seen that!
That's about the only thing I miss from my 2012.
