Have 04 Tundra. Replace Headlights and corner lights. I can not aim these things. Took forever to even get the gear to move down in the adjuster hole. From what I have read you can only adjust vertical no horizontal. I thought I had them close but then weird stuff on driver side. I covered up both lights one by one. When I cover up the passenger side it looks like the driver side is level and acts like both lights. I uncover it and both look like they are messed together. I then covered up the driver side and looks like its all over the place. I did the wall thing and measured. Still the same outcome. Oh when I drive with the brights on it looks good down the road and not one flashing light back to me. Hope this made sense and someone has suggestions. Thanks

It's been years since I have adjusted my headlights so I'm going off memory. First the basics. Since they are aftermarket lights did you confirm that there is not a defective reflector causing the light beam to be off. Also make sure the light housing has no play and is firmly mounted. What I found to be easiest for me was to use a flat blade screwdriver and pry the black plastic star forward. Then turn the white plastic piece with chanel locks and I believe I held the threaded stud with pliers to keep it from turning. Then use the screwdriver to push the plastic star back in place. I went through the same issue years ago and I believe this is how I solved my adjustment issue. IMG_20191208_110556774.jpg
