Hi, anyone that has the new tundras, if you have that gap by the fender and headlight and brake light assemble, I urge you to contact Toyota directly. This is a Quality Control Issue and needs to be addressed. They will send the report to your local Dealership to start a DPR (dealer product report). We need as many people to report this to start a recall of some sort. These vehicles aren't cheap by no stretch. Worth a shot.

Uh, you're not going to get a recall for a body panel misalignment issue. Do you have pics of this gap you are referring to?

I got the same issue actually and its quite annoying. Would be great if toyota fixed it.

Recalls are for safety issues right, how can this be a recall issue?

Seem kind of vague in the list below from the Doc Matt2015Tundra provided.

Examples of Defects Not Considered Safety-Related
› Air conditioners and radios that do not operate properly
› Ordinary wear of equipment that has to be inspected, maintained, and replaced periodically (e.g., shock absorbers, batteries, brake pads and shoes, and exhaust systems) › Nonstructural or body panel rust
› Quality of paint or cosmetic blemishes
    › Excessive oil consumption

One example of a non-safety recall that I could envision Toyota issuing is on the defective side seat panels. I bet the number of warranty claims on that one part has to be worthy of a recall, assuming the new part is more durable. Or, they'll just keep replacing them as they crack, I suppose.
