Previously posted in California section with not much response.

Hopefully the fires will have died down.......

California work trip next week. Flying into Oakland Monday, working in Rodeo Tuesday. Interested in good Eateries / Grills. The kind of places that may bring out your inner Homer Simpson. lol

Probably no time for much else.

Driving down to El Segundo on Wednesday. Probably bypass the coast until Pismo Beach. Plan to stop at Hoagies for lunch, great Grill we visited a few years back; Unless someone has better recommendation.

Staying in Hermosa Beach, working in El Segundo. Eateries / Grills close by? Ate at Sharkeez in Manhattan Beach many years ago, remembering very good.

    Fly home Friday AM.

    Thanks in advance,

Sorry we didn't answer up; :notsure: never saw the thread. Since you'll be up north, I don't have first hand knowledge for recommendations. But I'll copy your thread to the NorCal B.S. and SoCal Shenannigans threads-- that's where everyone kinda keeps up. Enjoy your trip!

El Segundo Brewery is a good start.

Let me get a list for El Segundo and if you’re heading to Pismo, you can go to the Hitching Post for some great food and do some wine tasting up in los alamos

If you make it into the city (SF), the best fast food burger joint is Super Duper Burgers. I have a bacon double with garlic fries at least once a week.

In the East Bay, Barneys Gourmet Burgers are pretty damn good too. If you like Chicago style deep dish pizza, Zachary’s Pizza in Oakland is the shit. Voted best pizza in the bay every year.
