Chopped and dumped dual exhaust; 6" fully adjustable ProComp lift w/ FabTech rear shocks, 12.5x20 Pro Comp rims on 37x12.50x20 tread wright mud tires, pedal commander throttle programmer and sound system from hell which consist of Sony double din headunit, 4 Morel Maximo Ultra 603 component door speakers w/ 4 tweeters ran on a Rockford fosgate P500-4 punch amp under drivers seat then the bass comes from a custom 15” 4000rms sub made from a Skar 15” Skar basket and motor with sundown x series components made by Patrick @ Robot Underground in Mesa AZ which is powered by 2 C.A.B. Audio 2000.1D amps strapped together at .08ohm which produces just under 5000rms. Also installed 100sq.ft. 10mil dynamat sound deadening on all 4doors (both exterior and interior chambers) double layer on roof and back wall as well as inside side mirror covers and behind side mirrors
I’m surprised no one has answered you yet. Any special reasoning for the overpriced Focal door speakers? You’d save a lot of money going with DS18 Pro Audio 8ohm speakers. Install two in each door and wire them together which drops the ohm load from 8ohm to 4ohm.

since you are already ordering from james, did you ask him for price quotes on your equipment? He usually beasts any prices out there, but stock has been a little hard to get lately.

looks like a good setup. i would recomend a kenwood head unit over the pioneer. You will also want to maestro with the adapter harnesses.

Its very doable yoruself. hardest thing is going to be running the power wire for your amp. Everything else is very straight forward. I would also recomend getting a JL amp, either an XD, RD, or HD series.

the main reason is the reviews for those focals are so good. I would be open to others if i could hear them first.

    2 shallow 10s in a ported box

I had the jl stealthbox with the 10tw3-d4's and sounded good, but felt like it was missing bass. Ended up getting the same speakers in a ported box, really livened them up.

For my amp, I couldn't decide between the Alpine PDX V9 and the JL Audio HD Series HD900/5.
Ended up with the PDX V9 because I found it on sale and I've been very happy with it..
Both are 2 ohm stable for your sub.

Don't forget you'll need spacers for your door speakers..
The vendor that shall not be mentioned on this forum makes some really nice custom speaker spacer/adapters.
It's the only thing I would ever buy from him.

    Hello thedonn,

I have upgraded my system to a single T*c*Tunes 12” sub with a 5 ch amp. Then I installed deadener and Hertz door speakers and components all around. It sounds great, but I am sure it will sound better with a new HU, and MAN I’m ready for CarPlay.

I decided on the Pioneer 8600nex. I like the way it appears to sit nearly flush to the dash. Hope mine ends up like that.

The HU came to me under the tree yesterday, along with the Maestro. My dash kit and harness come this week and I aim to install everything on Thursday and Friday. I haven’t found any good tutorials for the Tundra, so I’ll take a lot of pictures of my mistakes and hopefully help others along the way.

    good luck!

Here’s a link for the DS-18 pro-x 6.5”. It’s a good video that lets you hear the clarity and distance of them. DS18 has multiple 6.5” models to choose from.
    https://youtu.be/K5KrcGdTML8

Here’s a couple pics from the Amazon reviews showing the difference in numbers on reviews. Don’t get me wrong Focal is a good brand I just find it as useless to spend that much for speakers and door speakers at that when there’s multiple options of different brands extremely cheaper and produce more sound clarity than a $600 80rms 6.5”. Lol

I’m the type to throw the cheaper priced options out there to save someone a buck, or in your case $500 bucks, they can use for something else on their truck. I also build custom subwoofer enclosures and built this one for a 2020 Tundra Pro Max. Keep in mind you will need a 2 1/2” seat lift and they will need to be moved forward 1 1/2”-2” for a box to fit behind the seats. I do have a set of seat risers with all holes pre-drilled if you’re interested. I made an extra set when I made the ones for the 2020 ProMax

I found a Kenwood DMX1037 on Amazon and that will be here next week. I am also going to get a sealed box with 2 JL 12tw1 subs from james. he has a JL RD900/5 amp that should do 75w rms x 4 and for the subs 1 x 500 (or is it 250 x 2) at 4 ohms. i think it is perfect for what i want - any last minute issues or concerns before i pull the trigger

    https://www.amazon.com/Kenwood-DMX1...1640974081&sprefix=kenwood+dmx+,aps,58&sr=8-2

now I just need to decide on front and rear speakers
