Just started happening, head unit won’t turn on all the way, charger port partially works, anyone know what might be the issue.

Try disconnecting your battery for an hour and see if that resets it

The one in my 2018 started constantly rebooting itself randomly. Fixed it with an Alpine ILX-407. Much happier, if I’d actually know exactly how bad the factory radio sucked I would have did it when the truck was new.

I thought there was an entune update to fix the rebooting

Did you also have to upgrade the speakers or did the factory speakers sound good enough? I intend to try the update but I have already shifted the budget for a lift to a new head unit as I cannot tolerate the continuous rebooting.

The factory speakers sound good enough for me. I would have never upgraded if the factory one didn’t start acting up. Wasn’t going to spend money for the same junk so took the opportunity to upgrade.

I don’t think the battery will fix it, I drive it everyday 3-400 miles a day

Do the Entune update yourself. All you need is USB2.0
