Hello everyone! I’m new to this website so bare with me. So my concern is the head gasket. It hasn’t happened yet(knock on wood). I’m a single mom with a single car that I rely on. I used it everyday and to take for long trips since I have a scooter to take with me. No concern is the head gasket. How to prevent it, if I can and how much will the replacement be?

Head gasket? Not a common failure for these that I’ve seen. I would enjoy your truck worry free.

Welcome to the Forum Maria. Tundra's are pretty tough and although head gaskets can blow, its pretty rare with these trucks. Keep up on the regular service intervals, and you should be just fine.

Is there a reason you are concerned about the headgasket in particular over other possible problems with the truck?
