Seems pretty annoying. Design flaw? If you have the same issue, which model year?

Yeah... I've been following him regarding this issue and thinking how stupid I'm to nitpick my "wind noise" issue.

Strange thing is that his 2022 door window rattled, and also his 2023 door window rattles too. While on this forum we don't really have many (or I can't recall any) posts about door window rattling at all.

Unfortunately he really got unlucky with this issue. I'm also very surprised that nobody from Toyota contacted him yet trying to help with this.

Like him or not, a new truck, especially an upper trim truck shouldn’t rattle like that, and should be fixed regardless of who you are. I also don’t have this issue, but if I did I wouldn’t be happy about it. Luckily the only issue I’ve had is a blown sub, which they’ll be replacing.

Imo design and quality control flaw, go peel back your door seals and see if they ever go back to the same place. My 2010 Camry and 2014 Camry still do, but not on my 22 tundra lol.

you must be living under a rock if you don't think yota marketing knows YouTube ppl, I don't but I'm pretty sure they flying him/them out to test out other yota products, and if not then someone else who has more followers on YouTube then him.

I mean they gave the million mile tundra owner a new truck and took his old one back all cuz of social media, plain and simple social media is the new age of digital marketing

Can't they just replace his whole door and be done with it?
Is it available to order all together or only by parts?

Lol, he should just get a hit and run damage his right side door which will need to be replaced entirely

Yes, I have it on both doors. 2022 Tundra with almost 23,500 miles. It only presented itself initially on the drivers side and has been “repaired” by the dealership a few times now. Within the past 3,000 miles or so, I now can hear it on the passenger side door.

Originally, the dealership replaced the seal twice(they thought it was defective), which didn’t do anything. Most recently, they opened a ticket/TAS with Toyota. Toyota had the dealership tech adjust the door striker, pulling the door tighter against the seal. That repair made sense, as I could pull on the door handle to make any noise go away while driving.

Adjusting the door striker helped for a bit(maybe 1000 miles)? But the noise has returned.

I’ve included the master techs notes from the RO.

I have a 22 limited with 36k and no rattle in passenger door window. Other squeaking and such from the back seats area, some rattles with certain music with bass but other than that no issues like trdjon has been having. Poor dude.
