Has anyone priced it how much it would cost to take chrome end caps and have them painted, compared to buying new ones? This can also go for the parts that surround the grill.

I'm interested in this as well. I'm planning on visiting our local high quality body shop to ask them the same question, maybe by the end of next week.

What part of OR are you in? I know an amazing auto body guy in Silverton/Mt. Angel.

I live in St.Helens. I forgot to check up on this today. Silverton is probably 1.5 hours something like that?
    Is it his own shop?

Yeah, it's called Mt. Angel Auto Body. Mt. Angel is a little further north of Silverton, but that would be a bit of a drive from St. Helens, though.

He used to be in in Portland but got sick of all the taxes and bureaucracy. My dad had both of his classic muscle cars painted by him and they turned out amazing.

I got mine powder coated for 300.00. I was lucky enough to score some extra end caps, so I didn’t have to take them off during the process.

If I figured it right, buying the color matched Grille and Bulge was $526, parts for the front bumper was $242, and parts for the rear bumper was $621. I got a quote for painting all end caps at $217, but the body shop didn't want to "paint" (+ all the prep work), over the chrome, because of their lifetime paint warranty.
