My truck turned 1 year old yesterday, New Year's Eve. Love this truck. I replaced my 07 gen 2 tundra with the new model. I have a lot of pros and very few cons about the gen 3. First of all, the power/torque difference is amazing, especially when towing. I tow a 28ft travel trailer that is about 7k when loaded. (I will be adding air bags). My milage is 2-3 miles per gallon better when towing. I get around 18 with normal driving. I've have few minor issues my dealer is aware of and handling. Rattling tailgate, drivers' side rear window trim popped out, drivers side vent stays closed, driver's side window trim letting air come in. The front hood sun glare sucks, may wrap it.
For all of your haters out there. Don't buy one! Pretty simple. The Gen 3 has a few issues and I'm very confident Toyota will address all of them. This is my 2nd tundra and I've owned 5 Tacoma's. Toyota has been good to me and will buy more of their trucks in the future.

Happy New Year and Birthday. My 22 Tundra has had no problems but will agree on the hood glare when driving toward the sun .

Very Nice. Mine arrived late Thursday night and I picked it up early Friday morning. It was a long night!

Very long night for me. Left dealer ship in Phoenix at 11:45 pm New Year's Eve. 90 Mile drive North to get home. Heavy rain and snow. Good times.
