Hands free phone issue…

So yesterday my hands free phone started doing a very odd thing. I have a 2012 Tundra and always use the hands free option while using my phone. Yesterday when I ended a call using the button on the steering wheel I could not get back to the radio as usual. The screen on my radio kept saying that I was still connected to the phone even though I had ended the call. Every time I pushed the button the radio screen would flash briefly and then go back to the phone. The only way I could clear it was to restart my truck. Has anyone else ever experienced this and what was done to fix it? I’ve had this truck for 5 years with no issues at all. TIA….
