My dealer is trying to tell me that Gulf States Toyota computer system has been rendered totally useless, that they've had to resort to tracking vehicles at the port by paper and pencil, the dealers have no idea of what vehicles are where, they can't anticipate when cars are coming in, fire and brimstone coming down from the sky, 40 years of darkness, dogs and cats sleeping together, MASS HYSTERIA.

Some of that might have been from Ghostbusters 1. Anyway, is anyone else hearing the same or am I being lied to by my dealer?

My build date was 4/29. My truck is still MIA.

If it makes you feel better, my build date was also 4/29 and I am still waiting. I also have not heard or gotten any updates. I think Toyota's computer system in general has had major issues and tracking is extremely difficult no matter what region. There are a few of us up here in the pacific northwest that have had pretty long wait times after our trucks have been built.

I’ve heard the same from a dealership, though I don’t have anything on order.

Yeah if you know the VIN I would be curious what the dealer code says on the Guest Toyota site. Mine was build on 6/8 and still shows a dealer code of "A". I noticed another Tundra on my dealer site the other day and decide to look it up. It showed "F" for about a week and now shows "G".

On another note I did hear that GST had a black out for the first few weeks of June, but I am pretty sure that is now over... But I do not work for Toyota so I am just assuming since the dealer gave me my actual VIN on the 14th of June.

I do. I've been checking it periodically. Code is "A".

No, unfortunately. 1794. TRD Pro would be more understandable.

Toyota's tracking system went black like 1.5 months ago. It's been super hard to track inventory but it's starting to slowly get back online now.

Alright, alright! I get your point.

    But what if you're wrong?

How do you like your GTL? I've got a few BMWs, haven't been on the 6 cyl yet. Can't kill my RT.
