I recently did a 6in lift on my 2017 SR5 crewmax Tundra and put on 34.75 in KO2s. The shop did a little bit of triming but it does rub a little at full lock. I am on a road trip and have had a couple scary moments. When braking while cornering (I believe only right), so I believe it is when the weight is shifting into the front left wheel, I got this bad scraping/grinding sound and it felt like the break was no longer engaged on that front left wheel.

This happened 2 times during a 1,000 mile trip so not often. Any ideas on narrowing it down?

Other info. The low tire pressure guage has come on a few times and will flash, stay on then go away a few times over the last couple of days. I have been running 33psi to 39psi (tried different ranges and it is still coming on. Not sure if the two are connected or not.

Next, I get vibration over 60 MPH. I believe it is still a pinion angle issue due to the 6in lift. (Shop installed 3 in block with an angle in it, dropped the carrier bearing with extension bolts (that mostly fixed the shudder at 10 mph but not high speed). They put in air bages so the truck sits level. I bring it up because it may be a wheel imbalance.

Sorry for the flood of info just want to give context. Dropped $10k on multiple upgrades at once and have multiple issues and not sure what's connected. Lesson learned.

Have you checked lug nut torque? Some rotor/brake issues are from lug nuts not at the proper torque. My issue was shaking while braking that was mostly fixed after I torqued them.

Other than that, did they nick a brake line and give you a slow leak? Did you check your brake fluid level?
