    Hi all,

Finally got me a TRD! I've looked around the web and this forum a bit and didn't see a solution, so here's my first post:

Does anybody have any recommendations or ideas for protecting the Toyota emblem/sensor that's on the grille? I'm asking because my last truck was a Z71 and the Chevy bow-tie on the front was chipped, cracked, and missing pieces. Granted, it lived in NM for a few years and now I'm in MD where there isn't the sand, rocks, and debris, but I want this truck to last 10+ years. Also, I don't figure that sensor is cheap to replace...

I was thinking about a clear vinyl or something. I don't want to mess up the sensor's capability; it already seems kind of finicky, especially in rain and whatnot.

    Thanks in advance!

Welcome from Arizona. Not sure how you'd protect the sensor without interfering with the sensor. Good luck.

    were u at?

I have cutout vinyl logo on mine - with no noticeable issues- but I turn off all “nannies “
every time I drive my tundra

Have seen others here with stickers covering entire sensor?

After u level/ lift truck that throws sensor “off” but there is a guy on site that does great work that has that issue covered @ARES B72795D6-EE84-4B67-B846-558530D1139C.jpg
