Tuesday I went to buy a brand new RAM 1500 but came home with a 2013 Tundra instead, So far I love the truck but have 2 complaints.
    A. I am 6,3.5 330LBs, I have to lean right and look under the roof to see stop lights :( this is not a Toyota problem per say but a problem with all pickups except ford.

    B. I have to duck my head when getting into the truck due to the low roof design (see A.)

Right now I am looking into lift/leveling kits https://www.roughcountry.com/toyota-suspension-lift-kit-872c.html?

I am also looking into custom interior kits.
    https://www.dashkitspecialties.com/exterior-kits-door-pillars.html

    and of course custom Rims.
    https://www.carid.com/worx-wheels/801v-triad-bright-chrome-11985146.html

Right now I may have a problem with the engine, When starting the truck after sitting over night in below freezing temps I get a light taping noise from the engine that goes away in about 3 minutes. I will of course search this forum for answers as i have already heard of the dreaded cam tower leak which I hope is something I never have to deal with.

Welcome from CO. I’m 5’7” so I cannot relate. It’s one of the very few advantages of my height.

Do yourself a favor and stay away from Rough Country. If you want a simple level kit, don’t want to crank it any higher, or take it on any moderate trails look at the in-coil spacer kit for around the same price from @ToyTec Lifts. It’s a safer option.

thnx for the response, first thing I want to do is level the truck and after that maybe a 2 inch lift for starters.

I would go with an adjustable setup then like BOSS, or Radflo. Eibach is also a good setup if you want around 3” of lift (Non-adjustable)

    welcome from TN!

I can attest to staying away from spacer lifts. Maybe try bilsteins with the adjustable clips. They're not as expensive as most coilovers and not that much more than a spacer lift.
