Had my toytec boss lift installed today. Had to order icon aal as toytec was back ordered and I didn’t want to wait. Build as follows…

toytec boss (3” front 1.5 rear)
Rear is actually icon aal w/ boss struts
    Spc upper control arms
    18” icon compression wheels
    Falken wildpeak at3w lt295/70r18
    Trd front/rear sway bars

overall I’m happy with how it turned out - I removed the front mud flaps and still have a slight rub in reverse at full lock. I’m open to suggestions!!3E9BD592-EBC3-469D-A029-30FAA840CCBD.jpg7AEA5E71-886B-4603-A7E9-88606D49857A.jpg51AED480-3773-4E1C-B470-C956236C8493.jpg979EBF6E-56B8-47DB-B46F-D314ABC49620.jpg5E507F51-DF47-4BC2-8E2E-2AA922EAE44C.jpg

Are you open to SPC UCA’s or a BMC?

I have spc uca I would like to avoid bmc. I think I’m going to trim the the liner and shove it in like some other guys have done.

Looks great! We'll have quite similar rides shortly...waiting for my leaf springs to arrive.
Good to know about the 295s. I'll be moving up from my 285s in the spring.

Congrats and welcome. Looks killer... Did the same lift, a little heat gun massage to the inner plastic wheel well will help... First marker the area with chalk or high lighter pen then start heat gun massage....until it clears the rub..Good luck

I am running almost the same exact setup on mine and I installed the coachbuilder bumper shims and have zero rub.

I’ve been looking into the shim option seems a good amount of people have gone that route. I need to look at mine a little deeper - some asshole backed into me less than 2 months after I bought it and it may only be that side that’s rubbing.

A48C84EF-C15C-4A67-8BE4-2F77EA13EA15.jpg Not sure I want to spend another $80 when I can probably come up with a solution for free.

I agree 100% if you can correct the issue yourself. $80 is well worth it when your driving a $50,000 truck that won’t sound like something is broken when turning or backing out of a driveway. Just my $.02

Thanks I worked with Hugo - he made it happen. Have to say Toytec’s customer service was excellent! Understandably, you guys couldn’t give a good eta for backordered components and understood when I found pieces elsewhere - really appreciate that! Normally I would’ve waited but someone else was relying on getting my stock parts before the snow starts.

I thought about using heat… ended up cutting using the info from another thread. No rub at full lock in any direction!134AE685-A294-4F18-9D0E-DB7B8593AD90.jpg07D267E6-FC41-45E0-BF8C-625E16B2CE01.jpg 235EA746-324E-4FCF-95E6-F1A060267972.jpg

Thank you. This is definitely what I wanted to see. I was curious to see how the leafs stacked up with no weight on the back of the truck. I’m back and forth about doing the aal. Thank you again.
