Had the Toyota bug since we got a 4 Runner several years ago.
Found a 2006 Tundra 4X4 with less than 200K miles we picked up this week.
    Everything still works.
Had it checked at local shop and all they found was needs carrier bearing, axle seal, and a tie rod end.
I plan to go through it, install new water pump, timing belt, change all fluids, and any other maintenance I can think of.

Couldn’t find exactly when timing belts, water pump etc was replaced so parked it until can change.
Got parts in and Finally getting around to changing out all the things can find I don’t like looks of.

Along with timing belt, and water pump kit, Will be changing out all vacuum hoses, coolant lines, idler pulleys, plugs, valve cover gaskets, cam and crank seals.
Cam seals would probably be okay with some additive, but I’ll already be close by removing valve covers so might as well.
I won’t lie; last time had my hands on heads, and cams similar to that was about 25 years ago when worked as cylinder head tech in auto machine shop with access to all types tools so just a but on the nervous side to be doing it at home with limited work space, and tools.

This little thing I bought yesterday been a champ. Used the 1/4” impact drivers for years at work, but since it usually busts the 1/4” drive adapters to bump it up to 3/8 drive sockets bought the actual impact.

Did good this evening. Had to put one of my high output batteries on it, to have power to remove the harmonic bolt, but it did itIMG_2319.jpg .

From the looks of the reflection in the pictures whoever had that truck took care of it. Black is very telling and that looks like a mirror. Should be better in person. Interior shows its age but that’s to be expected. I would not be scared to buy that truck at all. Good find

    Thanks.
We really like it. Can't wait to get all the parts on it, and start driving it again.

Welcome from NC :hattip:nice looking truck. I've made subtle changes to mine. I'm going to paint the side mirrors, but only after I install an alarm system. Keep us posted
