So I have been using Adams super vrt on my trim for the Tundra to help protect it and on the Tacoma to bring the blackness back to it. It does this but only until it rains and then it streaks down the bumpers and the trim looks like crap. I don't even have to drive in the rain, just the trucks sitting in the driveway and the stuff seems to just wash away. I just finished that bottle this past weekend so I'm looking for something new to use, any suggestions?

    Too many…scratch that…not done yet.
I've used Meguiar's Ultimate Black the last couple years. Just picked up some Chemical Guys Black on Black, I'll be trying soon.

The very best out of all the ones I’ve tried is Shine Supply Trim Shield. It is, in my opinion, light years ahead of it’s competition in terms of protection and durability. It’s the only one I’ve used that actually causes water to bead on trim like a paint sealant.

It’s not real cheap, but a bottle goes a very long way. It doesn’t take much.

Will this stuff restore trim color as well? I'm ok with it costing more if it last, I'm so over the other stuff I've tried not lasting. Any special product you use to clean the trim before application of this?

Yes sir it does, very well. The only thing I’ve seen that restores color more is Solution Finish. It’s another great product, but is really more of a dye. I don’t feel like it adds the protection Trim Shield does. I use Solution Finish on trim that’s pretty far gone, then put Trim Shield over it.

I don’t use anything special to clean it. Just my normal car wash soap, and maybe a stiff brush if it’s really nasty.

By the way, if you end up ordering from Shine Supply, their Wise Guy Tire Cleaner is outstanding also.

Awesome, I'm in need of that as well this go around. I detailed my Tacoma and Tundra over the weekend and used up a bunch of my supplies.

How is there cherry silica wax? I also need something new that I can lay down and then top with the beadmaker, I was using a Wolfgang paint sealant but I'm done with that to and looking to see if there is something better.

I have some, but have only done a couple of panels with it. It looked good, but I don’t use a lot of wax. I did my truck with their Signature Shine Wax last weekend, and it turned out very nice.

If you want, pm me your address and I’ll send you the bottle of Cherry Wax. I’m probably never going to use it.

As for a sealant, the best combo I’ve found is Carpro Hydro2 with Beadmaker on top.
