Good Dealership Recommendations that sell 3rd Gen TRD Pro (or other trims) at MSRP

BLUF: Looking for dealership recommendations that people have had a positive experience getting their TRD Pro at MSRP (without markup).

I made a previous post discussing how complicated and frustrating the process has been:

The obvious answer that most people agree on and have had success is by placing some sort of deposit and getting on a waitlist.

With that being said, can anyone provide a good dealership recommendation based on their experience?

fwiw, I'm located in FL, but not afraid to travel.

Last note, even if a recommendation is super far away, there is still value in sharing as it might help someone else.

 

Maplewood Toyota in Minnesota sells at MSRP. My 2021 was held up in the power steering stop sale/recall. I was offered a comparable 2022 in place of my truck, again at MSRP so they were going out of their way to provide customer service. I declined their offer, because my heart was and is set on my 2021, which I finally took delivery on in March 2022. I told my sales guy what I wanted, he found it in transit to different dealership (same owners as Maplewood). Then I drove down there to put money down and an intra-dealership trade was made before my truck hit the rail head. The recall occurred before the dealership took ownership and the truck was still owned by Toyota Corporate. I waited from October through March before Maplewood Toyota took ownership and transferred it to me. I would buy from them again. They treated me fairly in a difficult situation.

 

Fred Anderson Toyota in Raleigh, NC sells at MSRP.

 

Last I checked Byers Toyota and Voss Toyota in Columbus Ohio sell at MSRP.

I believe the 10th day of each month they see what Toyota is sending them.

I bought my Platinum in March and there was no additional ADM, dealer add-ones or hanky panky.

Arlington Toyota in Jacksonville sells at MSRP.

 

Haley Toyota, McGeorge Toyota, and Mechanicsville Toyota in Richmond, VA all sell at or under MSRP.

The reality is that everyday inventory is increasing and demand is decreasing. We are already seeing discounts on MSRP. Keep looking and don’t bite too quick. Soon enough they be begging for your business.

Where in the state are you? I’ve started my search and everyone I’ve called around me in the panhandle and South Georgia seems to be at msrp right now

But In reality... Do they actually have allocations or truck on the lot? Lol probably not.

 

well my dealer sells below msrp but you have to live in a designated zone around the dealer within the state for them to sell one to you.

another dealer about 100 miles away sells at msrp but again, you have to live within a zone in the state for them to sell it to you.

only about 5-6 major towns in the whole state so the dealers pretty much have a monopoly across the whole state that they have carved out to not over lap each other very much.

 

Valenti Toyota in RI sells at MSRP. Super nice folks there.

 

I think the TRD Pros are still the short supply most likely to be marked up. Other lower trims can be found under MSRP. 2wd more than 4wd.

I live in the metro ATL suburbs. Near city and most suburban dealerships are shopped out for any brand due to lots of city buyers with lots of money. Deals and selections are better in smaller cities (not small towns) 100 plus miles out where the dealers are decent sized bot not totally wiped out by city high rollers

There’s a lot of dealers that sell at msrp. There’s a sales manager for Toyota of Greensburg here that can help you

 

Superior Toyota in Parkersburg WV sold me my Pro at msrp, only port add in was air filters. I drove 5.5 hours from NoVA as dealers here wanted stupid prices.

 

Another things is to buy out of the GST, SET region. Those are loaded down with shit . Almost usually 3-4k in extras

 

I 2nd that. This is where I got my 23 pro from. They did say the wait list for a pro is nearing 50 people though...

 

Peterson Toyota in Boise Idaho is selling at MSRP. Has from the beginning of 2022 to their credit. I should qualify that they have some 300 "deposits/reservations" on their list, so getting a Tundra soon would be luck of finding one that a buyer has walked away from, or just plain waiting for many months. Also long ways from FL, sorry.

 

Paul where in Boise are you? I haven’t seen another 1794 off-road on the streets. What color do you have?

 

Are they selling Platinum Hybrids for under MSRP? Seems like every dealer I have been in contact with is selling for over MSRP. I have one I put a deposit on at MSRP, but if I can find one with tonneau cover from factory, that would be ideal.

 

Was at one the other day had 20k market adjustment.

 

Yeah, everywhere I've found has $5k-$20k mark-up on hybrids.

 

Where are you located. I know a few dealers in the Midwest with platinums and 1794 with no add ons but maybe the advance package or tonneau cover

 

Have you tried using markups.org lately?

 

Not sure about the hybrids, but I am pretty sure they have some available for purchase. I was only on the list for a TRD Pro for 3 months before I got the call. In that time I have seen plenty of other Hybrid platinums and 1794s on their websites.
