so I’m gonna go with these runningboards, but I got a question for the guys that have them. Where did you locate your bypass switch. I’d love to see some pics. Getting some ideas for location

Just finished the installation yesterday. The wires for the inside sensors and on/off switch enter under the passenger seat. The instructions say to run the driver side sensor and on/off switch under the console, but after looking closely at possible routes and not wanting to disassemble the console, I ran the sensor wire to the back around the rear storage area to the driver b pillar. The on/off switch wire is shorter, so I ran it under the front passenger seat towards the console, around the console at the floor and toward the front where the truck start switch is. Ended up on the front of the console where it meets the dash. Hope this helps. See pictures below.

Mines in the same place as Chucks, but for some reason, unless I did something wrong, my switch does nothing, on or off. Any suggestions

I taped the connector together so that it wouldn’t come apart. Did you check to make sure it didn’t come apart/unplugged? Did it work before you pulled it forward?

I’ll check, never checked it or used it before the other day, I tried and it didn’t operate.
