I currently have the limited nightshade and want to get the stance of the stock TRD Pro. I know that it’s a 2” lift in the front but my question is how you all achieved that. I don’t do much off-roading, except for the OBX beaches, so something cost effective is just fine.
    Thanks!

If you don’t take your truck off-road spacers should be fine, others will say buy once cry once and replace your suspension but since your truck is so new I doubt that is an option.
I rode on spacers for over a year and had no issues. I didn’t off-road though.

6112s set at 1.9 would be perfect. No need to touch the rear suspension and no need for UCA.

I get spacers, but this is a foreign language to me. Sorry!

to make the best choice for you it pays to learn it. if you go under the sub forums and look under 3rd gen suspension you will learn enough to make that decision.

Sorry to hear you needed adjustable UCA for 1.9 lift. I have run lifted suspensions on many trucks, 4runners, and have never heard of that happening with just 2 inches of lift. But I suppose its possible.

As far as the rear, if he wants the stance of the Pro, it is 2 inches higher in front than the other Tundras, no lift in the rear. The Pros sit level. But you are correct, if towing any real weight a Pro will squat some in the rear, looking nose high by an inch or two.

Hey. I am not speaking as any type of suspension technical expert. Just from my personal experience:

    1. I had a 2016 TRD Off Road that I wanted to go faux Pro without doing the TRD Pro suspension. I did that with Bilstein 5100s all around. My front 5100s were set at the middle (I think that’s around 1.75” lift) setting. No lift on the back. It got me pretty close to the leveled look of the Pro with a slight rake. No other work was done on it except for an alignment. I did not change the tires either. Worked great and for my limited towing (less than 5k pounds) also worked great. Cost was appx. $950 including struts, shocks, install and suspension. It was done by an affiliate of a local Toyota dealer.

    2. I just bought a 2021 Limited Nightshade a month ago. I went back to the 5100 setup. But this time I had the front struts set at the top (I think that’s 2.5” lift) setting and I added spacers front and back so I netted a total lift of 3 in the front and 1.5 in the back. I did this so I could clear 34” BFG tires. It did that. It also only required an alignment with no other changes to the suspension. Total cost for me here was slightly over $1000 including all parts and install and alignment. Same shop did the work.

The reason I went this route instead of leveling kit is I had read that leveling kits reduce the overall suspension travel of the stock shocks. Again, I’m not technically learned in suspension works so I chose to go with the replacement strut setup that kept full travel and gave me the leveling effect. Plus Bilstein is a pretty well known brand with quality products and this was a great value for the dollar in my mind.

Hope this helps. And I will upload pics of my two trucks later.

My truck with Bilstein 6112 coilovers at the 1.9" setting and nothing in the rear.
Edit: I did add Bilstein 5160 rear shocks but no rear lift.

I'd say ride is better but that's subjective and let's be honest it's a truck not a Lexus it's a truck.

Order some Billstein 5100 shocks. Set the front to the top setting and you will be perfectly level.

So all you need are front shocks to achieve that pro look?

Before the rear lift, truck was within 1/4” all around, but I wanted to add some rake back.

I have the stock 18” at the moment.. would like to upgrade to the same 18” but with a +25 offset. This looks like it sits just on the edge of the fenders or just out side.
