General UCA Question

    Hi everyone

    Have been digging into research about a full suspension upgrade and noticed one thing I was hoping someone could explain for me.

    Upper control arms aren’t inexpensive. Granted it’s probably a low volume item, lots of R&D, etc. but aside from the full billet options it seems like the standard Total Choas type arms are a ton of dough.

    I’m new to the the off road suspension world, anyone have a sec to explain why? Seems like most of the welded options are very similar.

    The materials they use they use chromoly to for the arm and then larger stronger uniballs instead of the standard balljoint and they also use greasable poly bushings. Mostly think the price reflects the work that most of these arnt a assembly made item like our factory stamped ones
