I’m on OEM belt #2 that squeals when it’s cold. Extremely annoying. Both purchased in early 2023. TRD SC, stock pulley.

Well, the stock intake manifold gaskets don't stay put in the Harrop 2650's machined grooves, so I'll call Harrop tomorrow to see if I can get an O-ring the same size, or if I need to special-order the SC gaskets.

Also, during mock-up I found that the Harrop body doesn't allow for a longer screw to be fit in the back holes, so I'm going to try studs back there as well.

That's sucks. Would figure they would just machine it to fit the OEM gasket like Magnuson.

Yeah, even the spacers are machined for the OEM gasket. I was tempted to use some FIPG between the spacers and the SC, but I know that'll be a pain to clean up later. I emailed Harrop, they're pretty quick to respond so I should have an answer tomorrow.

I wonder if some Red N tacky grease would hold them in there well enough for installation. Could be a bit risky I guess.

Is it squealing due to your tensioner? I've replaced mine twice but so far, it's been holding well three years later...

I’ll have my mechanic check! The belt was replaced when he did water pump and an idler pulley he noticed had some play.

For any Harrop owners, the replacement is a BS139 o-ring. I'm ordering 8 from Harrop for $33 shipped, but found these that I also ordered to see if they will work.

Those o-rings fit perfectly, so I'll have spares. Reflective heat shielding cut and installed after cleaning.
    upload_2024-11-12_17-45-12.jpg

Here you can see the longer bolt that won't fit the rear passenger-side mounting hole, interferes with the Harrop intercooler end plate...could probably massage the hole with a carbide bit and make it fit, might only be an issue with the Harrop...I replaced the rear holts with studs and nuts, which helped with lining up the supercharger during reinstallation so I didn't muck up my o-rings again.
    upload_2024-11-12_17-44-35.jpg

I split the rotor pack from the SC base to make reinstallation easier. Here is the SC base reinstalled and torqued down, I can't even see the spacer.
    upload_2024-11-12_17-47-1.jpg

I wasn't able to get a socket over the rear passenger-side stud to torque the nut, but I was able to tighten with a wrench...really tough to get to with my fuel lines running back there.

Nice work! Was that heat shield just the aluminum reflection type or the DEI heat shield stuff with the matting behind it?

Anyone have a recommendation on where to buy good replacement Bosch LSU 4.9 wideband sensors? Looks like they’re 130-150 dollars. Not gonna lie, I’m tempted to try the cheap Chinese knockoffs that are 40 bucks with 4 star average reviews on Amazon. I can replace it 4 times for the price of one Bosch…

Just read an article that the state is currently at something like 215 wildfires so far this month. Typically around 15 for all of November. We did get 0.25" of rain yesterday though! First measurable amount in ~1 month. Governor is asking people to conserve water because they need it to fight the fires. Riches to rags type of year.

I visually compared the new and the replacement in every way that I could think of, the connectors and the markings on the sensor itself, and the replacement looked identical.
