Prospeed motor mounts came in the mail and look great. Larger than I thought but makes sense. Curious how these will feel vs stock with all the extra torque clamped down.

Not to side track this thread but thats an incredibly saturated market. Not a lot of money to be made anymore unless you're doing volume OR doing integrals. The price point on integrals is stupid high.
I was an 07/SOT for many years, even put myself through school while doing it. Building suppressors/ sbr's and sbs were my jam.

I picked up the truck yesterday. This thing flies compared to my other truck, granted the other one is super heavy and not supercharged yet.
I will probably be fixing the coupler in the blower sooner than later.
Do you happen to have a link to the size pulley you suggest for the supercharger?

Well since you all but demanded I plug my own product, I would get this in the 2.0" variant:
    https://www.snivspeedshop.com/product/tundra-magnuson-supercharger-pulley-combo

If you don't want that, the next best option imo is the griptec but they only offer down to a 2.3" pulley. The 2.0" pulley I designed specifically for high altitude applications like yours.

I don't know what your additional modifications are gonna be, but due to your elevation you probably don't need larger injectors assuming it already has the 535cc Magnuson ones--though 650s arent gonna hurt ever!

I'm not planning on going crazy with the truck as far as engine mods. I'll leave whatever injectors are in it and roll with it. And I don't mind you plugging your products at all. Any way to support a forum member like yourself is awesome in my book, especially somebody as knowledgeable as you. I'll check out that link and start some research on how to swap that pulley.

Just call me "behind the curve" I guess :rasta:;).
I never planned to buy this truck. It all started with a search for a rear disc brake conversion kit for my 1st Gen Taco. Then I was always saying that the Tundra doesn't need a S/C, it has enough power. A chance encounter on Craig's List detoured that weak excuse. I am not in control....

Tunes done and the truck runs like a raped ape. New draggy times to follow. Thanks to @JustDSM with OTT for taking the time today.

I pieced together the stock box lid to fit for the idling and maf initial items and all worked out well.

New finding with the vented plate in the wheel well. Seeing cooler iat temps much closer to ambient. My theory is the cooler air from the stillen is staying on the box area better. Coming back from the coast I saw 6* above ambient. Which is a long way from where we started initially with this shit prospeed box.

No Dyno numbers but we will see what the draggy time says. Should give a good idea. 7k lbs, 37s etc.

Before this last upgrade your numbers were flirting around the hp that most would go full engine rebuild with right?

Or were these changes and the switch to Whipple purely for a different power/torque curve?

I was on the stock pulley on the Magnuson blower. Reasoning on the switch was a bigger more efficient design with less maintenance than the maggy. I imagine the truck makes some where in the 620-640+ crank given the weight and times I've seen. Maybe 500+whp with 20% loss and my setup.

Less maintenance than the maggy? These are basically maintenance free. Even the guys at superchargers online say so. Replace the coupler with a heavy duty option and you're set.

Bigger and more efficient, yes, absolutely. But for what 20 hp over a stock mag? As stated before by @snivilous, they will all blow your stock engine the same.

Yea I'm not swapping a coupler once a year. Mine had an upgraded coupler from a rebuild and didn't make it a year.. Stock engine also yes. But this won't be a stock motor in the long wrong so planning for that. Hp isn't the full picture when doing builds.

I ordered a 77.5mm as well. I've read thru a bunch of the thread and I'm torn.

Not a Tundra, but a 3UR here. What is the threshold of safe vs pushing limits of internals, blown engine, or when engine life etc is sacrificed? Not going past 550whp?

I have a 2018 Lexus LX570 with the Harrop 2650 w/85mm-no tune, 37" tires, stock gearing w/8 speed. I live at 10,000ft. I'm installing either 80mm or 77.5mm pulley, walbro450, 775cc inj, prospeed fuel rail and pump jumper and getting a tune halfway across the country.

Keeping the intake, headers, exhaust stock and was told that made it okay to run the 77.5mm, but if had intake and headers w/77.5 it would make too much power for the stock internals. Is it pushing it that close to the limits of the engine? Thanks

At your elevation, you have nothing to worry about. I'm at 8,000ft and I'm having to overdrive (smaller pulley) the blower just to get to the stock equivalent HP here.
