I upgraded my 2021 SR5 DC battery to the Odyssey group 31, PC2150T battery last month.

I was looking for a way to keep the battery fully charged. As our Toyotas generally put out 13.8V and I need 14.4V for my deep cycle to get topped off.

After reading on this forum, I purchased the GM diode on Amazon for $7.57

I installed it today and immediately ran my charging test. You can see the results were 14.5V at 2,500 rpm.

    Very happy with this solution.

I really like the BLE battery monitor, and the free battery monitor phon app. That's the screen shot from my phone showing the charging voltage test.

I did need to trim my GM diode up with a box knife, to have it fit into my fuse block. Took 2 tries and 5 minutes total.

    Very easy mod
