Gen1 alloy wheel ctr dust caps recommendation?
New to me 06 AC w/5 [slotted]20240601_093753(1).jpg spoke 17"x6 alloy wheels, but hub dust caps gone.
So, are the Toyo originals that much better than the aftermarkets on Ebay, hubcapheaven, etc?
It looks like the Toy oem are also plastic, but maybe better quality?
From near $75 to 100 each for Toyo, or as little as 25-30 for knock-off set of four...
    Big difference!
    Advice/comments please. Thx, ps.

Bought my Tundra in 2017, missing 2 of the 4 center caps. Bought generics off Amazon. Side by side I could tell they were somewhat inferior quality to OEM, however once I replaced all 4 you'd never know they weren't original without an OEM cap to compare to. Kept them for 6 years before getting new wheels and they still looked perfect. Would buy them again 100% if I needed to. This pic was 3 years after putting them on.

I agree with @Mustanley However, mine did not last so long

you get 4 for a fraction of the cost of one OEM so even if it doesn't last as long as his, you would have spares

interesting..may look into buying 2 sets of aftermarket.
Seems like theyd get 'brittle' over time and 1st tire changer throws it on a tire-dismounter, cap probly disintegrates, whether Toyo or aftrmrkt.

Mine may not be the same ones as @Mustanley but the plastic itself was OK. It was just the Toyota emblem Was stuck on with some black adhesive

from a distance You probably wouldn't know.

The centerpieces themselves lasted fine, but one or two of them lost their fake Toyota emblem and I just rubbed the black adhesive off until I eventually replaced it
