    Still trying to figure fuel tank size, filled from 1/2 got 16 gallons in, but I heard Toyota holds some in reserve some for the fuel pump

    Welcome! Sounds about right for the 38-gallon tank. Yes, there will be some in "reserve" when your gauge shows empty. There may be 1 or 2 other threads about this topic... :rolleyes:
