Hello everyone… it’s been a while since I’ve been on the forum… taking a break from social media.
I’m asking this question for a friend who has a 2024 Tundra she bought new in 2024… she is smelling gas outside of the truck after driving, seems worse with longer distances… no smell inside the cab. No puddles under the truck, no check engine lights, no change in performance. She has had it to the dealership and they say they can’t smell anything. Anyone else have this experience? Thanks in advance!

Ugh that gas smell sucks! Maybe double-check the fuel cap or see if something's leaking under the hood. Fingers crossed it's nothing serious and she can get back to cruisin' soon!

There was a fuel line recall for 22-23 but I don't think that applies to 2024

Check the pollution control filter box off the gas fill hose. A back-up into that will cause an odor, but also usually causes a warning light as well.
