After I drive my 2002 Tundra for a bit, when I get out there is a gas smell. Looked around underneath and can't see any leakage from the tank anywhere. Any ideas ?

I had that on my 05 and it ended up being a dry rotted filler tube.

Is it an easy do it yourself fix, or is it involved and need a shop to do it ?

Not real hard, there's just enough room to get it done without removing anything else. Took about a half hour in the driveway.

Wound up being a leaking gasket on fuel sending unit.

Yeah. Had a similar issue (smelling gas vapor) with a gas tank vapor tube that dry rotted at the connection. The rubber tube was in good condition except right where it slipped onto the male fitting. Cut the rotted end part off with a razor and reconnected. Fortunate there was extra slack in the hose.

While in that area went ahead and zip tied all the adjacent hoses together as the original clips/mounts were loosened from age. Tighten and resupported everything.
