    Hello,
Today I went to fill up my empty (20 miles to go) gas tank.
It got to 3.7 gallons and the pump shut off. I thought it was the pump so I started my truck and the gas gauge shot up to full. I tried another pump but the pump just clicked off again. I ran my truck for 50 miles and the gas gauge fell to 3/4 of a tank. I tried filling it again and it only took 3.5 gallons and the gas gauge reads full.
Has this happened to anyone else? Does anyone have an idea what the problem could be?
    Thanks, Marty

search fuel tank rollover valve here on this site, check some of those threads and see if that issue matches what you are experiencing.
