My Garmin Dashcam Mini 2 front and rear facing cameras almost captured footage of a Hyundai crashing into my Tundra on the day after Thanksgiving! I had to slam on my brakes to avoid an accident. Good thing I had the audio mic turned off. Otherwise, all you'll hear is me cursing. I have to deal with stupid drivers in Houston everytime I leave the house. Get yourself a dashcam. It might save you from BS insurance claims by idiot drivers and legal trouble.

    Be careful and stay safe.

Glad she's okay and you. How's the Garmin mini at night with the quality of reading license plates?

Drivers crossing 3 lanes nowadays instead of slowing down lane over lane. I have both F/R Mini 2 as well.

Reading the license plates sometimes is difficult with most 1080p cameras. It's actually better to just slow the playback speed instead of pausing the video to read the license plate. If I have to do this all over, I would get the Dashcam Tandem for the front and Dashcam 57 for the rear. Both have higher 1440p resolution. The downside of these 2 cameras is the bigger form factor. The beauty of the Dashcam Mini 2 is that they're small and kind of discrete.

Cutting across 3 to 5 lanes is a common driving maneuver among many drivers in the Houston area. I see a major accident 50% of the time I drive on the freeways here in Houston.

In my opinion, Houston has the most reckless and most aggressive drivers in the United States. I've driven in many major cities in the U.S. several times - Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, Phoenix, Salt Lake, Portland, Las Vegas, Denver, Seattle, DFW, Austin, San Antonio, New Orleans, OKC, Chicago, Minneapolis, St Louis, Atlanta, Miami, Orlando, Philly, DC, Baltimore, New York City, Newark, Nashville, Columbus, Indianapolis, etc. and Houston in my opinion has the worse drivers. LOL

Must have been Ricky Bobby! lol.

I’ve never been in a city like Houston with so many vehicles that are duck taped to hold body panels, windows, and windshields in place.

I may have to start a YouTube channel called Dashcam Confessionals to show how dangerous drivers are in Houston. LOL

The Dashcam Mini 2 at $99 is hard to beat IMO.

Another near miss today in Houston. This stupid blonde in the BMW cuts me off to make the turn when she could have slowed down to do the same. I had to slam on my brakes again. Fook! She even gives me the middle finger towards the end of the video! What a fookin biatch!

But they’ve saved me from getting into accidents and fender benders several times already. I think Big Brake Kits are a good investment when you’re running 37s.

You need to test out that steel bumper. I mean you got it for a reason right?

Have to second this one, particularly San Antonio for me. Driving the hwy, there wasn't any gradual slowing, or smooth driving. There's was going or slamming on brakes, craziest driving I've seen anywhere. I'm sure it wasn't any of you Tundra folks though
