I didn't believe the hype after hearing about the induction bolt heaters, but after buying one and using it on suspension and brake projects between my Tundra and Highlander recently, it absolutely works and has removed every rusted nut in a minute. If you have a vehicle with rust, it's definitely worth the money. I got mine on Amazon on sale for $160.

You can shape the coil to fit around anything. It's just insulated solid #12 copper. I shaped one of the coils to bend over the frame to heat up the rear shock's top nuts. They got cherry red in less than 1 minute. Came right off with no effort. Just did front struts on my Highlander and those nuts came right off too.

    Weight reduction, mostly rust.
I asked someone about this very thing a few months ago. Can't remember who I talked to, they were military (navy/marine), said they had used it on ship....
Exhaust manifold bolts come to mind for me. Hell, who am I kidding, (you're right) I could use it on my entire truck.

I got one last summer and it is nothing short of miraculous! The first time I used it was on an engine bolt on a Sea Doo. There's no way I could have safely used an open flame down in the hull. This thing worked like a charm.
For decades I've used propane and MAPP torches on all sorts of automotive suspensions and elsewhere. This thing does a much better job, plus it's more convenient, more controlled, and safer. I highly recommend!

Oh wow. I saw a guy use one of those in a TRQ video. I had no idea what it was. I don't know where they're located but the trucks they work on in their videos are always rusty AF.

They have great videos I've always been surprised that they seem to use real world vehicles from the area

The videos are made in Nashua though. I looked into it on the past.
