    I picked up a 2007 Tundra 5.7L earlier this year. Second day I had it, CEL came on and went into limp mode with SAIS error codes.

    Fast forward, the dealer tried to be helpful, replaced air pumps, switching valves, a few wiring harnesses, and finally the intake manifold trying to get it up and running. I go to pick it up, before I leave the lot the CEL is back on. At this point I was badly needing a truck for the homestead, so I compromised with the dealer and told them I'd try the bypass kit. I'd read about the bypass kit and ordered the Gen II. The dealer had gotten the codes reduced to the point where I could clear the codes out, and it would run fine with no limp mode.

    Yesterday I installed the bypass kit. To my dismay, on the passenger side, there was already a block-off plate installed... So not sure if the previous owner had possibly installed one in the past? Unfortunately, I start the truck up, and the dashboard is lit up like a Christmas tree. VSC OFF, traction light, CEL, and 4LO are all lit, with 4LO blinking.

    It's in an unclearable limp mode now and throwing codes P2432 on bank 1 and P2438 on bank 2. Anyone familiar with this situation and know if I might now need the pressure sensor replacements as well? I really love this truck but this issue is a dark cloud over my parade :( I appreciate any suggestions or confirmation if someone had this behavior before installing the pressure switch replacement add-on.

    Call Hewitt and ask them what they'd recommend. They have tons of experience dealing with situations like this and you have certainly earned some tech support by purchasing their product already.

    Did that this morning - their response here:

    If you were to purchase (2) Pressure Sensor addons, that would be a full delete kit for the SAIS. Currently, you are only tripping error codes for the Bank #1 and Bank #2. The most common reasons we see this after installation of our Bypass Kit is;

        1. Installation Error
    First thing we would want to do is go over installation and make sure everything is connected properly. An error here could trip these codes.

        1. After Market Parts
    If the Air Switching Valves have ever been replaced with aftermarket parts this can cause codes as well. This would require the (2) Pressure Sensor Addons to address.

        1. 2 Damaged Pressure Sensors
    It is rare that both of your valve would fail at the same time and cause both of the pressure sensor to be damaged. However, it is possible and would require the (2) Pressure Sensor Addons.

    I'd asked about the errors and they said the pressure switch replacement add-on should fully delete the system... that's my next step. The wallet is crying but better than what it'd cost to have it fixed in a shop.
