Fuel system issues with a 2012 Tundra

2012 Tundra Crew Cab

Hello Toyota world, I’ve got a 2012 Tundra that has some issues. When I topped off the tank the check engine light came on and gave a P0462 code. The fuel pump had a short in it and had that replaced. Everything was fine after the replacement until I topped off the fuel tank again. After a few miles the 4LO light began flashing and the check engine light came on again. Same code. Has anyone else experienced these issues? The truck did die while driving before the fuel pump was replaced. Mechanic said the fuel pump was on all the time which caused it to stall out. Any ideas would be appreciated.
