So recently, I replaced my fuel pump for the third time in 2 years. But this most recent time, I have the electrical hooked up to the pump and all hoses and lines back where they are supposed to be, but the the truck still only cranks. I pulled the line off the fuel rail and checked if it was getting fuel and nothing came out. No fuses are blown, has 3/4 tank of gas, and fuel pump was primed before trying to start back up. I'm thinking that the electrical plug that goes into the pump is shot. Opinions or help?

I search online, seems like there’s a fuel pump control module. I’ll check it out if you think it’s the wiring.

How would I be sure it's the module? I cut some of the insulation off the wires to see if they were green but looked to be in good shape.

I'm on fuel pump #3, this last one was installed by Toyota 12/19/22 as of yesterday i'm having the same symptoms and issues I had before the most recent pump install. The issue was non existent last week, truck sat in my garage for 5 days while out of town and back to issues

Have you looked at that fuel pump ECU back there? Aside from fuses and relays up front, it handles the full load of the pump.

Did each pump get a new strainer? What were the symptoms?

I would agree with @KeepOnTruckin check on the Fuel pump ecu. My SC400 has a similar set up and the majority of the time the fuel pump ECU or voltage regulator is the reason pumps would die, well not really die, since the ECU would fail and would not feed power to the pump. Most people there jump the ECU to a constant power, or rewire directly to the pump, but that would compromise safety. The part number for our trucks is 8957034010

I got it fixed, ground wasn't tight, may have been the reason the fuel pumps kept burning up
