Hey gang, quick question regarding the fuel indicator light, on my 2018 5.7L, the low fuel indicator light comes on at approximately 20kms distance to empty, or roughly 12miles.

I recently installed a 12volt tech starter and initially thought the indicator light was faulty however after dealing with the customer service and trouble shooting ( They were excellent to deal with ) I found out it was simply set lower than I was comfortable letting it go.

My question is, is it possible to change this value in the computer or is it something I have to live with?

    Cheers gang!

Mine also does this. 0 miles, then it goes to REFUEL on the range. Don’t worry OP, even with those parameters, you’re not even into your reserve fuel yet. I went about 30 miles passed my range being 0, and my truck still only took about 29 gallons, so I still had about 7 comfortable gallons of reserve fuel left.
