Today i was driving to dentist a d fuel gauge showed low on E-the light was on. I didnt think it was low. I put 10 gallons of fuel in.
What do you think would be the cause and how to fix? A week ago i had new struts and shocks put on it .
The gruck has 170000 miles on it. I bought it new. Thanks. The gauge still shows on E and light is on

Full tank and drop a can of seafoam in there. Should ungunk the level on the sending unit. Mine would stop at a 1/4 tank and it dropped me off a few times in the most uncomfortable places. After a few full tanks it should work again.
