If/when you ever need to replace your front windshield try to get the oem frontwindshield if you have HUD. The aftermarket glass seems not as good for the HUD at different viewing angles. Of coure the oem is backordered with no eta date.

K&N air filter. Front windows tint, RC front leveling kit.
I had to wait less then a week for OEM windshield to be installed. But this was 3 months ago.

I’ve only had my truck 5 weeks and am on my third windshield.

It’s a long story and absolutely ridiculous and the saga isn’t over. Both glass companies stated only OEM was recommended and it wasn’t much trouble getting them.

I've heard the HUD glass is a lot more expensive than poverty trims...specially on Capstone that has the acoustic version.

Has anyone had problems after they replaced the windshield with your LTA not activating? It will say alert only! And I can’t change it within the steering wheel controls. I can change the sensitivity and everything but it won’t activate just says off no matter how long I hold the button to activate. Every other setting works but the LTA. Any thoughts? It was replaced with OEM

I've been waiting 4 weeks now for mine. The distortion on my OEM windshield is maddening.

my understanding is Platinum, 1794 and Capstone trims get the acoustic windshield...Capstone gets side glass too but not sure if 1794 LE got it?

Just finished 2 weeks and 5100 miles, had to call twice to get rock chips repaired before they cracked out, only heard the hit never saw it. Can’t believe the glass is this fragile in them. My 05 it took a golf ball sized rock to chip it.
