Just put on rear sway bar for 2011 Tundra SR5 double cab 2wd lifted 3" in front 1" rear. The results were great!. Am now considering a front sway bar for even more stability. Parts guy
at Toyota says, " TRD front sway bar not compatible with my truck. "
Has anyone with 2nd Generation Tundra been able to install a front sway bar? Or is it worth
    pursing..............

I have a sway bar for sale if interested. Mine should fit the 2007-2021 Tundra. I have the TRD black one for sale. The red one is the one that comes in the Tundra Sport edition.

    Nando_TRD76,
If I'm not mistaken the TRD black is the hollow bar 17lbs. that is provided in OEM Tundra's. The red TRD is solid approximately
30lbs. Since the chassis are the same on the 2nd and 3rd generation I don't see why there is a compatibility issue.

    e30cabrio,
Thanks for the tip. I saw the video of someone putting one on with that same part number. These Toyota part guys can't think
    out of the box.
    Your rig sounds pretty nice................

He’s probably saying that because you lifted the front up 3”. I just did a 3”/2” on my 4wd 2008 tundra limited. The kit came with brackets to drop my sway bar down for it to have the right fit. You should not have an issue installing the sway bar if you get the spacers. Mine are from ReadyLift.

    Mrencz,
Thanks for the tip. What ReadyLift kit specifically do you speak of. I ordered the sway bar but did not consider brackets to
compensate for the 3" lift. Having just installed the rear sway bar I was struck by how planted to truck felt.

    Thanks

    Mrencz,
Completed the lift last fall. I ordered the Front Sway last week and the brackets yesterday so I don't expect any problems
especially since my truck is a 2011.
    Appreciate your input...........

Not all lifts require the sway bar drop down kit. Ready lift does, Toytec coilover lift does not.

There is not a TRD branded black sway bar. It's a stock OEM bar, which is hollow and weighs 17 lbs. The TRD is solid and weighs 30 lbs. @TheBeast, it makes the steering fill a little more firm. I have had mine for a couple of years now.

With the rear coupled with the front sway bar, I expect the Ridge Grapplers to glide through offramps and turns
    with precision.

What you talking about? The black one came on my Limited 4x4 TRD Off Road package. The RED one comes in the sport Tundra's.

All 07 and up have the black one. The red TRD is the upgrade.

TRD Off Road package uses the OEM sway bar. Not a TRD branded one. Just like the skid "plate" on the Off Road package has nothing to do with the TRD skid plate that is 1/4" thick aluminum.
