Front Sway Bar Removal / Install Question

My 2019 is making a small front end clunking noise 1. Mild - when turning or 2. Heavier - when turning into driveway but going up standard rounded curb. I've installed the full CBI three piece skid which while I added some cushioning between plates its been a couple of years so that has probably worn out. Removing these skids is easy but complete pain-in-the-ass job. I would like, as a quick check, to just unbolt the front sway bar links and tie-wrap out of the way for a simple drive around the block to see if its the culprit. I've never removed the front and was just wondering if its a simple undue the two main bolts and reinstall them or do you have to fight like crazy getting them to line back up. I have no access to the bushing attach points to loosen them.

I've seen a couple of video's but they always have the bushing bolts loose when installing the two 17mm bolts.

 

It will be a pain if you are just trying to undo the 2 links from the lower mounts.
