I am looking for the front mounting bolt for the leaf springs for my 2010. Ran into trouble installing torklifts — long story short they’re replacing them — but in the process I stripped the threads. Does anyone know size/part number?

And what’s the best way to replace this? Hammer out old, use something to keeps holes aligned, use a Jack to hold the spring up, install new? Worried about all the weight on this — have replaced entire suspension on truck by myself but this scares me a bit!

One way would be to lift both the left and right side up by the frame. Put a jack under the pumpkin to support the axle until it takes tension off the bolt and tap it out.

Another way would be new u-bolts for that side and jack it up from the frame on that side, support the axle on that side w a bottle jack, remove the ubolts to seperate the leaf pack from the axle. Then swap the bolt.
