Getting the ARB summit bumper installed next week on my Tundra with a Warn 12k winch. This will be approximately 240 lbs added to the front of my truck. I currently have Bilstein 5100s on the front set on the top setting which gives me approximately 2.3” of lift with STOCK SPRINGS.
    - How much should i expect my front end to be pulled down from the added weight? 1/2”? .. 1”?
    - what would you guys recommend for heavy duty springs to replace my OEM springs to pair with the bilstein 5100s, that will handle the new added weight better?
    - am I going cause premature wear on my suspension from this added weight without adding heavy duty springs?

    All input is appreciated!!

Think you are on target for it dropping over .5 inch to 1 inch, I would count on the inch. You could just add a .25 or .5 top mount shim/spacer and get back the height. Those shims will give 2x the height of the shim, so .25 will raise the truck half inch.

As far as heavier springs, I would call a shop that sells eibach springs and see if they have something in the 700lb rate that will work. They are good springs and will not break the bank. Need to be mindful, because a HD coil may lift the truck too high or you may need to dial the perch back down some for use with the HD coil so you are not 3.5-4 inches of lift. Toytec sells eibach coils and can help you out.

I have heard of people running OME 612 coils with 5100s or 6112s, but know OME coils alone will lift the truck 2.5-2.75 inches , so adding them to the lifted spring perches could mean way too much lift. Again, toytec sells them too, so whatever your favorite "4wd shop" is, call them and they should be able to assist you dial everything in.

Thank you Frank. My goal is to run the OME nitro kit with the heavy load springs, but everything is back ordered.

Am I running the risk of causing premature wear on my truck by installing the heavy bumper and winch WITHOUT adding heavy duty springs?

That addition is a good amount of weight but people run heavy bumpers on stock trucks without issue. Yours would be no different. You will just lose some of the lift you gained with the 5100s after adding the winch and bumper.
