    Hey all,

I recently clicked my 2010 Tundra 4wd into 4hi while on a smooth dirt road. I noticed that while off-throttle coasting there was a continuous thumping on the front end. When I got home I put the truck up in the air and felt that both front CVs had a lot of slop in them. More so the driver side than the passenger.
I called a local shop for a quote on replacing both from CVs and they gave me a quote of $1300. I have two coworkers who know what they are doing under a truck, and I trust them to do the work with me.
How do I find OEM (or equal) CVs to throw on there?

Thanks for any and all information.

You need the ECGS bushing kit. Your CV axles are unlikely to need replacement.

A lot of good reviews for Napa new CV axles. If you want to save some cash, I went that route, not installed yet though.
So I can’t comment too much on them.

also get the ECGS kit right away too.

RCV is backed up. Just got mine last week and it took 14 weeks from online purchase to being shipped out.

If you're lifted I'd stick with OEM, either purchase new or rebuild your existing ones. I'd stay away from the cheap aftermarket axles as their range of motion sucks and start to bind when flexing. If you're not lifted, anything is fair game.
