Front bumper R/L extension question.

I have a 2020 Limited with the Left and right front bumper extensions being chrome. The bumper is all factory original and I want to change them out for the black plastic OEM bumper extensions, to match the center area of the bumper. Working to eliminate more of the factory chrome pieces.

Can anybody tell me if this is just a simple swap, or is there additional support pieces needed because or the extensions being plastic instead of steel? The online ordering for these doesn't mention the need of any other parts, but I would hate to buy and find out later I need something more.
