Well it was a good run. Bought the truck earlier this year and so far very minor scratch on the rear bumper. (i'm realistic, it cant be perfect forever, lol)

Walked out to the truck yesterday and looked at the front bumper. What the F???
Just washed and waxed it the other day, that was NOT there. Some asshat cut things a bit tight and got a souvenir from my truck.

I dont park right on top of people and dont mind walking in a crowded parking lot to keep the truck away from people who like to ding the doors.

Ok so what to do.... Anyone with experience taking the front end apart? This section looks like its a modular piece. Yeah a nice off road bumper would be a sweet upgrade but I really dont need it. I might get some touch up paint for the scrapes that didnt go through the primer.
The one scrape that did, well at least the MGM color isn't that far off.

What to do? Leave it? Fix it?

I'll tell you this, these trucks are Sharp as hell.
But as for the cosmetic plastic on the front end is more than my liking, I think the Cardashian's have a touch more plastic on there grills!

So to answer your question, yes.The whole front end dose come apart fairly easily, you could buy a new one color matched and swap it out in less than 5 minutes or take it off and have it touched up by a painter or do it yourself.
Touch up pens on Amazon is pretty cheap or you can hit up the Stealership.

Bottom line is that it sucks that people in general suck.
I always dump off at the door and park a mile away...

Leave it, count it as character, move on and enjoy driving it.

It sucks, got one on my bumper after my wife drove the truck to the store. You can fix it, but it’s bound to happen again. It ain’t worth worrying about.

I might leave it, mild eye sore. But before I do I have to find out how much a panel costs. If stupidly cheap, well I wouldnt let that go.
If expensive... then probably not. Based on the cost of parts just for the motor alone... I am betting its on the expensive side.

    Sounds like a good plan.

It looks like some of the marks could be simple paint transfer that can be rubbed out.

Start with some simple rubbing compound and buffing - see how much comes out.

I probably wouldn’t do much more - but I’m not a perfectionist either. If it’s a daily driver - it’s bound to happen.

Only time to get it back to perfect is before you sell them. Otherwise - it’s a continuous game of chasing marks/scratches - you fix 2 and then you find another.
