Hey gang. So, I was coming back down a grade towing my tent trailer. I know how to go down a grade with gearing and etc, not to overheat things..., but towards the end of the grade the brakes felt like the rotors were warped getting that pedal chatter (also felt in cab). A little later, nothing, perfectly smooth the rest of the way home. Thinking that if they were overheated and became warped, they would stay that way. So maybe this was some sort of ABS thing going on?
    Whatcha think?

Nah, it’s rotor warp. They can warp under high heat and the straighten out when they cool off. I’ve had several vehicles that were really bad about it… the worst was a CRV in the Smokies. Might want to check that your wheels are properly torqued. Other than that, not sure what the solution might be.
