Front air dam

So I changed my oil for the first time at 4000 miles. I was aware of the air dam that automatically lowers in front blocking skid plate and oil filter. I went to look at the air dam and could not find it. I put it on the lift and raised it and no air dam. It’s a sr5 with TRD off road. I also put on a taco tunes skid plate for the cats. The rear bolts washers will bend into the opening if you tighten the bolt too much. I would recommend using a thicker rear washer to prevent this or a small block to keep the washer from caving in

 

TRD package is why you don't have it

 

TRD Off-road package does not have it. TRD Sport package does.

 

Actually, you can read in other threads that TRD-OR packages do have it, my 22 DC TRD-OR has it just by looking at my profile pic to the left.

 

SR5 TRD ORs....no air dam.

Limited (& up? Maybe?)...air dam all the way baby.

My SR5 TRD OR does not have the active dam.
